Welcome to Math Foundations! This self-paced online course is designed to build the essential pre-algebra skills needed for success in Algebra 1.

My Role: While the lessons are online, I am here to guide you, provide one-on-one help, and lead mini-lessons when you need extra support.

Make-Up Work & Support

Fridays are the best days for making up material, but we can talk and be flexible to accommodate your schedule as needed.

Accommodations: If you have specific needs (such as larger fonts, printed notes, or preferential seating), please let me know immediately so I can ensure you have the tools to succeed.

Grading & Progress

This is a Competency-Based course. There are no traditional letter grades assigned by me.

Success = Completion. You must finish all required modules, practice sets, and assessments in the online platform to pass the course.

Late Work Policy

I will accept assignments up to one week late; after that, it is considered missed.

Communication is key! If you know you are not going to attend class, please communicate with me. I can have materials ready for you at the beginning of class when you return or send them home with you.

Please be respectful of everyone's time and be considerate.

Expectations

  1. Work Consistently: Log in and make progress every week.
  2. Take Notes: Treat the online videos like a real lecture.
  3. Ask for Help: Do not spin your wheels. If you are stuck, ask me!
