Our 8-week journey is broken down into seven core units. This roadmap outlines the key topics we will explore each step of the way.

Unit 1: Reasoning, Logic & Venn Diagrams

Understanding logical reasoning and its application in geometry.

Unit 2: Lines, Angles, and Parallelism

Properties of lines, angles, and parallel lines, including transversal relationships.

Unit 3: Transformations & Symmetry

Exploring translations, reflections, rotations, dilations, and various types of symmetry.

Unit 4: Triangles: Properties & Congruence

Classifying triangles, understanding their properties, and proving congruence.

Unit 5: Similarity & Trigonometry

Concepts of similar figures and an introduction to right-triangle trigonometry.

Unit 6: Polygons & Circles

Properties of various polygons, circumference, area, and equations of circles.

Unit 7: 3D Figures

Calculating volume, surface area, and analyzing effects of dimensional change.

Understanding Your Grade

Your final grade reflects your consistent effort and participation. Daily work is the largest component, ensuring your hard work in class pays off.

  • B: 80-89%
  • C: 70-79%
  • D: 60-69%
  • F: Below 60%

  • You are responsible for makeup work when absent.
